GE CFL Bulb Package Concept - "Ecomagination: Celebrating Imagination of Life"

The GE CFL package concept aims to inspire people to imagine the millions of wonderful possibilities that can

happen during 8 years of their lives, which is the life span of a CFL bulb.

The "ecomagination" package concept proposes a fun and interactive way to open the product.

During the opening process, facts about CFL bulbs' environmental benefits are revealed on the inner side of

the peeled paper stripe. The opening process becomes a communication tool as well as a celebration experience.

The Cylindrical perforation was inspired by GE's logo and the top view of the CFL bulb. The opening process

of the package mimics the twisted contour of the CFL bulb.
